Do you know about Rural Care at Aldenham Country Park? a day service that provides work and training for people with additional needs in a supportive and caring environment on a fully working farm and country park.

They are based here at Aldenham Country Park and at Church Farm Ardeley, Rural Care are at the heart of everything that keeps both sites running, from bagging feed to sell in the shop to caring for sheep! They really do some great stuff! 

This is where Rustic Rhubarb comes in * enhancing the farm experience with real opportunities to work in a busy country park cafe * being involved in the wider community, meeting customers and preparing produce they’ve nurtured and grown on the allotment. Essentially, ‘a real plot to plate’ experience!

Rural Care makes such a difference to peoples lives, helping people feel included in genuine meaningful work!
