So some of you might know about Rural Care......
Care provide work and training for people with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues in a supportive & caring environment on a fully working farm & Country Park.
They are based here at Aldenham Country Park and at Church Farm Ardeley - Rural Care are at the heart of everything that keeps both sites running, from bagging feed to sell in the shop to caring for sheep!
Not all Co - farmers are natural farmers and the farming side is not for everyone!
Now here's the exciting bit! In the coming months we hope to offer work experience within the Cafe - creating even more opportunities!
Rural Care makes such a difference to peoples lives, helping the excluded become included in genuine meaningful work, which is of real value!
